SITUATION
Laika was attending SaaStr, a major B2B SaaS conference, with a booth positioned near two main competitors. These competitors had similar-sounding names ending in “A,” making differentiation critical. Additionally, Laika’s key differentiator—being the only all-in-one compliance and auditing platform—was not widely recognized in the market.

TASK
Develop a conference theme and integrated marketing campaign that would:

  • Clearly differentiate Laika from competitors.

  • Communicate Laika’s unique value proposition as a one-stop shop for compliance.

  • Drive buzz before the event, attract and engage attendees at the booth, and generate high-quality leads for the sales team.

ACTION
Created the “LaikaOne: Compliance Done” theme, leveraging a golf-inspired activation (hole-in-one = seamless compliance).

1.Designed an omnichannel marketing campaign that included:

  • Pre-event digital ads & social campaigns to drive booth traffic.

  • Personalized email outreach & ABM campaigns to target decision-makers.

  • A dedicated event landing page to schedule meetings and collect leads.

2. Developed a high-engagement booth experience featuring:

  • A mini golf hole-in-one challenge, with winners entered to win a PGA course experience.

  • Live compliance demos showcasing Laika’s platform capabilities.

  • Arnold Palmer refreshments to enhance brand recall.

3. Executed post-event nurture campaigns, including:

  • Follow-up emails and LinkedIn retargeting ads featuring event highlights.

  • Exclusive post-event webinars and whitepapers to further educate and convert leads.
